Where can I view a Planning Application?
This council's online planning application database provides access to the all planning applications and appeals. You can view and track planning applications as they progress through the planning system. Your comments on planning applications can be submitted electronically using the planning application database.
Paper copies of plans are no longer available at the Borough or Parish Council Offices. Clicking planning application online database to: - See planning applications
- Look at drawings, photographs and documents accompanying a planning application
- Read the officer's report for each decided application
- Get Decision Notices, including any attached conditions or reasons for refusal
- Show appeal decisions
- Comment on applications where a decision has not been made
If you wish to comment on any application, this must be done in writing. Please quote the application reference number. Comments can be made through the online database, by email to planning@welhat.gov.uk or posted to: Development Management

AL8 6AE Any written comments are available online, for public inspection and, if the application is subject to appeal, are forwarded to the Planning Inspectorate. In the case of a householder application, in the event of an appeal that proceeds by way of the 'fast track' procedure, any views will be passed to the Secretary of State and there will be no opportunity to make further comments. If you are unable to access the online database, below are the details of all the locations where planning applications can be viewed on a computer.
